Between the Ears is a middle grade series written from the point of view of a mustang-quarter horse filly, Panther. Panther gains friendship, confidence, and her place in the world through grit, determination, and self discovery. Panther’s story goes from herd-less in the wild to competitive horse showing with her chosen rider.
