Across the Fence is the first book to the upcoming middle grade reader series, Between the Ears. Across the Fence is written from the point of view of a mustang-quarter horse filly, Panther. Panther gains friendship, confidence, and her place in the world through grit, determination, and self discovery. Between the Ears will follow Panther’s story, as she goes from herd-less in the wild to competitive horse showing with her trusted rider.
